Terms of use
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Djib Smart for using the Akhriya app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
1. Who can use Akhriya
You must be at least 13 years old to use Akhriya. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. The service
Akhriya lets you set a daily reading goal, record your reading, create or join reading groups, see group reports and leaderboards, and receive reminders. The app is free. We may add, change or remove features over time, and we may show sponsored content on the home screen.
3. Groups and admins
- Anyone with a group’s invite link or code can join it, so share invites only with people you trust.
- Group admins can change the group’s settings, record readings on a member’s behalf, send reminders and remove members. Admins should use these tools fairly and respectfully.
- Members of a group can see each other’s names, photos and reading progress, as described in the privacy policy.
4. Acceptable use
When using Akhriya, you agree not to:
- post names, photos, descriptions or notes that are offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading or that violate someone else’s rights;
- harass, threaten or impersonate other people;
- record false readings for others or misuse admin tools;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or interfere with the app’s security or operation;
- use the app for any unlawful purpose.
You can report inappropriate content or behaviour to support@djibsmart.net. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to the app, such as your name, photo, group names and notes. You allow us to store and display it to the people you share it with, only so that the app can work. You can change or delete it at any time.
6. Religious content
The app shows verses and hadiths to encourage you. We take care to quote them accurately with their sources, but Akhriya is a reading companion and not a source of religious rulings. For religious guidance, please consult qualified scholars.
7. Sponsored content
Sponsored images link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for those websites, their products or their privacy practices.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep Akhriya available and accurate, but the app is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or that reminders will always arrive on time. To the extent allowed by law, Djib Smart is not liable for indirect losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Akhriya and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using Akhriya after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Djibouti. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it together. Otherwise, the courts of Djibouti have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
